Chair Yoga Classes Resume!

Wednesdays starting September 6th, 10AM

Cost: $8 for 4-week class

Spinney resident, Joan Haggerty, recently relocated to Castleton to be nearer to her children.  Joan is very passionate about teaching others about the benefits of the yoga practice as it has assisted with her own recovery and management of health challenges throughout the years, and has been teaching since 1979!  Join Joan and learn why yoga is so good for you!  This practice the perfect way to do as much (or as little!) as your body allows you to do with the support of a chair.

Yankee Trail Trip to the Catskills to “Ride the Rails like a Railroad Barron”

Thursday, September 7th, 7:45AM

Cost: $90

This 2 hour and 15 minute ride through the Catskills includes spectacular scenery, a delicious meal, and a memorable ride.  The Flyer is a terrific way to experience the elegance of yesteryears. Leave Yankee Trails at 7:45AM and return around 4PM.

Make Your Own Fall Wreath

Monday, September 11th, 12:30PM

Cost: about $15 (depends on materials used)

Make your own fall wreath to decorate your cottage door with!  Please sign up in the Clubhouse.

Zumba Classes Resume!

Tuesdays starting September 12th, 6PM

Cost: $6/class

Zumba Gold classes will be offered in the Clubhouse space starting Tuesday, September 12th and will run through November 14th (excluding Tuesday, October 31st for Halloween).

Cocktail Hour

Enjoy your favorite summer cocktail!  Appetizers to share are welcome.

Book Club Meeting

The Spinney Book Club is currently reading The Glass Castle by Jeannette Walls and will be discussing the book this month!  If you’re interested please come and join!  The group may also go see the movie, details TBA.

Start with a champagne brunch on Racquete Lake, after cruise travel to north Creek to board the train for a delightful and scenic ride to Saratoga springs and enjoy the Adirondack Fall Scenery.  Leave Yankee Trails 7:15AM and return 7PM.
