Food Florist Schedule

The Food Florist will be visiting The Spinney this month on Tuesday, April 9th and Tuesday April 23rd at 1PM.  April 23rd will be her last visit to the community until the Fall.  If you miss her food, simply visit the Troy Farmer’s Market on Saturdays in the summer!

Spring has sprung!  If you had a plot last season for the Community Garden, please contact Karen by 4/12 regarding whether you would like to keep your plot this year.  All remaining garden plots will be available for sign-up after 4/12.  To contact Karen, please call her, put a note in the Activities Box, or stop by the Clubhouse to see her!  This meeting will discuss rules and available plots for the 2019 season.

Well it’s “the top of the mornin’ ta ya”!  Classes for March are 3/6, 3/13, 3/20, 3/27.  The 20th being the first day of Spring!  If it’s been too cold and nasty for you, now is the time to resume some all around movement to prepare for Spring.  Do as little or as much as your body will allow.  It truly is “move it or lose it”.  Namaste.

Christmas Tree Pick-Up

With the help of County Waste, we are helping to facilitate the pick-up of REAL Christmas trees again this year on Thursday, January 10th.  If you purchase a real Christmas tree, please notify the Leasing Office by the close of business on Thursday, January 3rd.  County Waste will ONLY be collecting trees from addresses that we provide to them on January 3rd.

Spinney at Pond View offices will be closed for the Christmas and New Years day holidays. We all hope you are able to celebrate the holiday season with your family and friends!

Alexis Diner Delivery Opportunities

Thursdays beginning December 6th

Alexis Diner will be delivering meals from a specially priced Spinney menu ($9.99/meal) ordered by residents – menus available in the Clubhouse. The following process will need to be followed: – For your first order ONLY, residents will need to call in their order and payment information into Alexis Diner at (518) 286-2603. – Once this call has been placed, all subsequent orders will be made by leaving your order at the front desk in the Clubhouse. All orders must be placed by 4PM the Wednesday prior to delivery. Once Spinney offices have closed on Wednesday, orders can no longer be placed. Once orders are left with the Leasing Office, all resident orders will be faxed together Thursday morning. – Alexis Diner will be delivering every order placed weekly at 3:30PM in the Clubhouse Great Room. Each order will be labeled with the individual’s name who ordered it.

Any questions at all, please contact the Leasing Office at (518) 479-0800. We hope you utilize (and enjoy!) this amazing service!

November 2018 Community Newsletter

OFFICES CLOSED: Thursday, November 22nd & Friday, November 23rd Spinney at Pond View offices will be closed Thursday and Friday due to the Thanksgiving holiday. We hope that you enjoy your holiday with family and friends!

Dog Feces Issue Throughout Community

We continue to have reports of dog feces not being picked up throughout the community. Dog feces can carry disease if left unattended and picking up of feces is a requirement as a dog owner on a Pet Lease at The Spinney at Pond View. Please note that if you are a dog owner and not picking up, this is a violation of your Pet Lease and your pet may be required to leave the property.

E-mail Correspondence Issues

It has come to our attention that some residents are not receiving our e-mails. All resident communications are sent through our property management system to the e-mail address that was provided to us at lease signing. If your e-mail address has changed since you moved in, please provide your new e-mail address to the office so that we can update your profile. If your e-mail address has not changed and you’re still experiencing issues, please add the following e-mail address to your Contacts List: donotreply@appfolio.com and let our office know so that we can contact our property management company to ensure your e-mail address has not been “blacklisted”.

Poker Players Needed!

Tuesdays, 6PM

Tuesdays at 6PM there is a group of residents that play poker in the Clubhouse and more players are needed. If you would like to play, come down to the Clubhouse on Tuesday nights or call Bob DiFazio (518) 813- 9275 at for more information

Enjoy a trip to Turning Stone Casino on a Yankee Trails bus!  The bus leaves from Yankee Trails at 8:15AM.

Capital Hauntings

Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk

Halloween Trick-Or-Treating

Several residents have asked about their grandchildren trick-or-treating throughout the community.  If you would like to have trick-or-treaters ring your doorbell, please put your front porch light on from 5 – 7 PM on Halloween.
